Strong Roots Mini Camp Registration

Talk, Sign, & Play - This camp is a fun, engaging space where kids make friends, explore new toys, and dive into creative activities—but it’s so much more than play! Through story time, songs, dancing, nursery rhymes, beginner ASL signs, and sensory exploration, children strengthen early language and narration, build social communication skills, practice following directions, and develop fine motor abilities. Campers also gain confidence separating from parents, enjoy parallel and group play, and practice important early communication skills in a supportive, playful environment. 

Super Snack Squad - Kids come for the popsicles, silly names, and colorful food fun—but they leave with so much more! Through hands-on snack-making, food experiments, and sensory play, campers build sensory tolerance, expand food-related language, gain confidence trying new foods, practice independence, and develop social and life skills—all in a playful, pressure-free environment that encourages choice, curiosity, and creativity. 

Friendship Builders - Kids come for the LEGOs, towers, slime, and goo—but they gain so much more! Through hands-on building challenges, slime experiments, and creative activities, campers strengthen early language, social communication, problem-solving, sequencing, executive function, and fine motor skills—all while practicing teamwork, turn-taking, and describing their creations in a playful, sensory-rich environment. 

Movers and Shakers - This camp is full of music, movement, and playful rhythm—but it’s designed to do much more than entertain! Through action songs, rhythm games, yoga, and sensory activities, children develop gross motor planning, rhythm and timing, self-regulation, body awareness, joint attention, and coping skills. Campers also practice teamwork, imitation, and self-advocacy, leaving with strategies and calm-down tools they can use at home.

Strong Speakers - The fun of friends, games, and creative projects is just the beginning! Campers engage in stories, songs, crafts, and playful group activities while building clear speech sounds, practicing self-expression, and learning to advocate for themselves. This camp blends laughter with language growth, helping children communicate confidently in a supportive, hands-on environment. 

Ready, Set, School! - Step into “school” without the stress! Kids explore crafts, games, and playful routines while quietly building the skills that make classroom life easier—like self-help, focus, following directions, teamwork, and fine motor skills. Through hands-on projects, group games, and real-world school practice, campers gain independence, confidence, and the tools to navigate the school day with ease.
